Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the SyncWave mobile application and this website. By using SyncWave you agree to them.
What SyncWave does
SyncWave lets you cast media (video, photos, music, web video) and mirror your device screen to compatible TVs and streaming devices over your local network. Feature availability depends on your TV hardware — for example, real-time screen mirroring requires a Google Cast capable receiver or AirPlay device.
Your content
You are responsible for the content you cast or mirror. Only cast content you own or are permitted to display. SyncWave does not host, store or redistribute your content — it streams directly between your devices. Casting from streaming services is subject to those services' own terms; DRM-protected content is handed off to the service's official cast flow where available.
Subscriptions & free tier
- The free tier includes casting with session limits, standard quality, and advertising.
- SyncWave Premium removes ads and limits and unlocks higher quality. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play, renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings, and are subject to the stores' refund policies.
Fair use
Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering except where the law allows, no using SyncWave to infringe others' rights, and no attempts to disrupt the service or other users' devices.
Disclaimer & liability
SyncWave is provided "as is". Streaming quality depends on your network and TV hardware, which we don't control. To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose statutory guarantees are not excluded), we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
